The first week picked up pace by the second half of it! Next week they plan to pour the footers and foundation. It's funny how I continually check the forecast to see if they're calling for rain. Here's hoping for clear skies!
In other news, I've been organizing and creating a ridiculous pile for a big neighborhood yard sale at my parent's house tomorrow morning. If we haven't used it in a few months, then it's outta here! The majority of the pile is baby girl clothing as those of you with kids know how quickly they outgrow 0-12 months.
Here's a few pictures from this week:
I need to check our forecast too for next week too. Ready to get the show on the road!

ReplyDeleteAt this point, only rain will stop the concrete guys, framing and plumbing guys should work through it, and then once you get the roof its full speed ahead
ReplyDeleteGood point! I was secretly hoping some would work regardless of weather. :-)
Deletebuilding a Ryan house. The first three months of the build seem to drag. The first three months of living in the house.....sped by
DeleteCongratulations! I couldn't wait until we were under roof so I would no longer worry about weather. Turns out, I didn't have much to worry about because our basement was dug and framing was done during those 80 degree days we had in March!
